Paynes Rise Wines is family owned located in the upper Yarra Valley. A boutique winery specialising in small batch wines produced from carefully selected fruit from their vineyard in Seville.
After many years in Melbourne Mr Payne (original owner) was granted an 80-acre allotment in Seville on the 18th February 1867. Before settling in Seville, Mr Payne worked in the goldfields and building trades, mastering the skills of lath plastering and the like. These skills were applied to the construction of his lath and plaster home overlooking the valleys of Seville and Wandin.
The Elm Room is the perfect space perfect for a more intimate gathering such as micro weddings. Set under the ancient Elms, overlooking the lawn area and historic buildings.
It has a very casual, modern, relaxed feel with high bars & stools, barrels and couch area with it’s own sound system and heating. Perfect for moving around and mingling with your guests.
